Sim to Reality: My Journey to IndyCar
My passion for racing started when I was four years old after watching Cars for the first time. That moment sparked a love for motorsports that’s only grown stronger over the years. In 2020, I began watching Formula 1 with my dad, and that’s when the dream really took hold. By 2021, I discovered sim racing and realized I could start racing myself.
Like many, I began with a basic setup—a gaming chair and a Logitech G29 clamped to a desk. As I improved my skill, so did my commitment . By 2023, I was competing at a higher level, treating sim racing seriously, and exploring ways to turn my passion into something more. Over time, I upgraded my setup and focused on improving through consistent practice and higher-level competition.
In 2024, I made the jump to real-life karting. I joined an arrive-and-drive series and quickly proved I could compete, earning podiums in 11 of 12 races, with 4 wins and a 15th place finish out of 219 in the teen category. Now, my focus is on continuing to grow—bridging the gap between sim racing and real-world motorsport, and showing that with skill, consistency, and determination, sim to reality can be done for anyone.
A Logitech G29 is where my sim racing journey started. Since then, my skills and setup have come a long way.
